Jamie Congedo
Jamie Congedo has been voicing radio and television spots professionally for awhile now, but has always had a love of acting and a flair for the dramatic. Acting all throughout her high school years, she appeared in some educational videos. The producers of the project approached her and asked if she’d do some voice over work for them. “Sure,” she said enthusiastically. “What’s that?”

A couple of years later, while living in California, a friend of hers, a marketing executive for a local radio station, invited her into the studio to read a few scripts for him.  It was then that her love of voice acting truly began. “It was so fun,” she says. “I finally felt like I was where I belonged.”

She started voicing spots and public service announcements from that day on, receiving many of her jobs because clients would hear her on the radio and call the station asking to know who this “girl with the voice” was and how they could get her to do their commercials. She also put in time as a guest DJ on KHUM with Maureen Burke during Women’s Weekend.  She has recently been collaborating on musical projects with several different producers.

Jamie’s past experience as an administrative professional has perfected her phone voice. She is absolutely the voice talent for all your IVR/on-hold/outgoing message needs. Her smooth, sexy voice is also ideal for radio imaging. Jamie’s turnaround time is extremely quick: she works from home and also has access to a studio with ISDN and conventional phone patch.  Her clients love her sweet, outgoing personality, her professionalism, and her ability to take direction well.

Jamie has been directed by Don Ross, Joe Zingo, Isaac Mosgofian, Maureen Burke, Quinn Gardner, and the late, great Ed Ragozzino.

Her voice has been described as:  Warm, Sexy, Lush, Vibrant, Sultry, Professional, Smooth, Hip, Sophisticated, Fresh, Youthful, Friendly, Sweet, Real, Sensual, Inviting, Optimistic, Genuine, Knowing, Wry, Sarcastic, Playful, Scintillating and Flirtatious.
